Go behind the scenes of our newest exhibit. Enjoy a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres as curator Leslie Weiss offers insight into the lives of the resident artists of “Weston Illustrated: Penned, Painted and Sculpted” on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 6:30pm. Event takes place at the Weston History & Culture Center, 104 Weston Road in Weston, CT. Parking and entrance on High Acre Road.
Through the years many creative and talented artists found Weston’s milieu intoxicating. View rare images and content relating to the artists featured in this exhibition that highlights the work of creatives living and working in Weston during the first half of the 20th century. Artists such as Wood Cowan, Charles and James Daugherty, Stevan Dohanos, John Held Jr., Ada “Johnny” Held, William Meade Prince, Laura Gardin Fraser, Stuart Benson and many more will be mentioned during this program.
