In this foundational drawing course, students will learn to draw using the mind, eye, and hand in harmony. Emphasis will be on observational drawing while learning composition, line, form, and value. Artists discussed and referenced will be John Ruggeri, Robert Weaver, Austin Briggs, and Veronica Lawlor to name a few. In Tim’s approach to drawing, storytelling is emphasized and each drawing is an opportunity to share a unique story. This all-encompassing approach allows for the artist to have moments of reflective meditation, which has been shown to positively impact mental well-being.
