Lisa Small Bio

Having possessed an artistic ingenuity since childhood, Lisa has spent her life juggling her creative self, captivated by color, patterns and all-things visual, with her vast intellectual curiosities and exploration. While she went on to become a successful corporate attorney in New York City, Lisa’s artistic inclination and pursuits were ever-present, serving as her conduit for true expression. Showcasing her hand-crafted, original artwork, paintings, designs, products and other creative works is a dream come true for her as she is able to express her whole self – creative, intellectual, spiritual and passionate – with no boundaries or rules. With respect to her style, Lisa often remarks that her work results from the constant internal battle between her ever-present creative, artistic side and her highly analytic, disciplined side all of which yields creations that often embody symmetry, detail and sophistication with an infusion of bold, rich, vibrant colors. That said, Lisa also enjoys exploring new styles, media and forms of expression to which she always adds a very characteristic “Lisa twist,” making her work extremely distinctive and identifiable. Lisa’s work has been displayed at a variety of galleries, art exhibitions, festivals and retailers around Fairfield County, CT.
