Weston, CT – Local couple Maureen and Bob Tartaglia have been selected to compete in the highly anticipated 2023 Pickle 4 Inaugural Ballpark Series at the iconic Fenway Park in Boston, MA, on July 14th. These pickleball enthusiasts will participate in mixed doubles, competing in the outfield of Fenway with the Green Monster looming in the background. It’s an unprecedented opportunity to fuse the wildly popular sport with the rich tradition and history of Fenway Park.

Off the court, Maureen Tartaglia has successfully combined her love for the sport with her artistic flair, establishing the pickleball merchandise company Hotstuffpickleball.com. “As an artist, designer, and passionate pickleball player, I was constantly searching for unique apparel, accessories, and gifts that I could wear or give to friends and family,” explains Maureen. “Frustrated by the lack of original products in the market, I started designing my own t-shirts, team logos, and accessories, and it just took off from there.” Maureen’s deep love for the sport has also inspired her to share it with others as a PPR certified coach and trainer.
