St. Mary Parish is set to host an elegant Mardi Gras Party on Friday, February 28th, bringing the vibrant spirit of New Orleans to the heart of Greenwich Avenue. This festive community gathering, organized by the Faith Formation Program, will be a refined yet lively evening celebrating tradition, culture, and camaraderie.

This year’s Mardi Gras celebration welcomes parishioners and friends to enjoy an evening of fine food, music, and entertainment in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with a carefully curated menu of Southern and Creole favorites, along with traditional Mardi Gras décor to set the festive tone.

A Culinary Experience Like No Other
Guests will indulge in a thoughtfully curated menu featuring authentic New Orleans flavors, including Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya, Shrimp Étouffée, Muffuletta Sliders, and Mini King Cakes. The evening will also include signature Hurricane Punch and other refreshments.

An Evening of Entertainment & Tradition
Beyond the exceptional food, the event will feature roulette tables, a DJ, door prizes, and a 50/50 raffle, ensuring a night of wholesome entertainment and community bonding. Attendees are encouraged to embrace the spirit of Mardi Gras with festive accessories and celebration.
