Winter’s frigid, long nights make it an excellent time for culinary celebrations paired with some wine pampering. Here are four terrific restaurant private party rooms where you can turn any occasion into something extraordinary.

THE WATERS EDGE
All marble, granite and mahogany, the wine room at Darien’s The Waters Edge at Giovanni’s is simple elegance tucked away on the restaurant’s lower level. Called CANTINA GIOVANNI, the more than 3,000 bottles of wine lining the walls create an ideal spot for a wine dinner for up to sixteen, complete with a sommelier to explain wine and food pairings, all specifically chosen for your event.

NAPA & CO.
Back in the day, Napa & Co. of Stamford included a tiny wine store, which was soon converted to the WINE CLOSET, an engaging spot where groups of two to ten eat at an antique pine table surrounded by racks of wine. There are minimums for the room—breakfast, $75; lunch, $200; dinner, $500—and you can either order off the menu or create a special tasting of your own.

WASHINGTON PRIME
Washington Prime’s PARTY ROOM In Norwalk Offers A Gorgeous View Of The Water And The Maritime Aquarium, Plus A Seventy-inch Flatscreen That Is Wifi-, Appletv- And Smart Tv-ready, Making It The Perfect Vehicle For Presentations, Photo Collages And Videos. The Room Capacity Is Twenty-four Seated, Thirty-five Standing, And Tables And The Menu Can Be Configured To Meet Your Needs.

MADONIA
When Owner/chef Enzo Bruno Designed Madonia In Stamford, He Included A Private TASTING ROOM, An Intimate Space Of Wood And Glass, In Warm Shades Of Gray And Bordeaux, For All To Enjoy. Up To Twelve Can Eat, Drink And Make Merry At A Large Table Surrounded By Wine Waiting To Be Sampled. There Is No Extra Charge To Reserve The Room; You May Order Off The Menu Or Create A Custom Selection.
