Big Wishes

More than 400 attendees gathered for the Celebrating Wishes Ball. The successful event, held at the Greenwich Country Club, included dinner and dancing and plenty of auction items. During the evening, two Wish children, Brooke Lorenz and Jimmy Galpin, were honored to a big round of applause. The event raised more than $450,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut. The organization grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to provide a much-needed break from lengthy hospital stays and medical treatments. The Connecticut chapter has made over 2,000 wishes come true since its inception in 1986.
