Fairfield Restaurant Week Rocks On

Fairfield’s 2nd annual restaurant week continues, creating a little extra hustle and bustle invigorating the town. Come one, come all and bring friends and family…restaurant week ends Saturday Oct 19th.

In addition to 32 local restaurants joining in on the fun this week — many clothing retailers are also offering special % discounts and sales. Pop into Apricot Lane, the Snappy Gator, La Moda Fashions, Island Outfitters, Chloe’s Closet, Capri, Chic Jolie, The Loft, Swim N Surf, the Label Exchange and The Authentic Athlete for great deals.

Prefer to redecorate your home before the holidays? Hazel Daze, Vintage Garden Gifts (award winning gift shop), Coreens Bridge Floral Shop, the Fairfield Museum and History Center, The Lions Paw and Dash N Drizzle are also running special discounts in celebration of restaurant week.

First Selectman Mike Tetreau (who has been out dining) said, “Restaurant Week is a big hit for the second year in a row! This event is a fabulous opportunity to show off all that is special about Fairfield. Our restaurants are packed with residents from many of our neighboring towns joining us for the week. It is just a great time all around.”

Enjoy dinner and a show one evening — as The Fairfield Theatre Company, 70 Sanford Street, is offering member discounts on all shows at Stage One in conjunction with restaurant week. The Fairfield: Public Library, Museum and History Center, Sportsplex, University and Bookstore each also plan to hold special activities/events this week.

“We’re off to a great start. The food has been fantastic and restaurants have been busy,” said Mark Barnhart, Director of Economic Development.

Stay tuned for some end of the week specials…
