Harbor Point Event Roundup

Stamford’s hottest new area is bursting at the seams with new events and establishments. Follow us through a perfect weekend at Harbor Point:

Enjoy tasty, to-go breakfast and lunch options at newly opened Corbo’s Southside Corner Deli . With a variety of specialty sandwiches and wraps, get a homemade feeling at a very affordable (and worth it!) price. Ask for a custom-made egg sandwich that reminds you of mom’s and don’t forget to try the soups and salads.

A choice of many daytime activities range from renting a paddle board or kayak at The Marina

Take a water taxi across the harbor to Dolce Cubano for sangria on the Sound.

Visit the Crab Shell for daytime drinks and a live band.

Book an afternoon or sunset sail aboard an 80’ Schooner with Soundwaters.

For a more relaxed option, take a stroll on the boardwalk or grab Henri’s and head to Kosciusko Park for a picnic and picture perfect sunset moment.

Pinot Palette is the area’s new favorite hangout place to bring friends, paint, sip wine and have fun. Come here for a double date night, girl’s night, birthday party or just to enjoy your hobby with local artists.

Once the clock hits 5, head on over to World of Beer for a large pretzel and pint! With over 500 different beers from 40 countries to choose from, your taste buds will be in hop heaven.

Indulge with a Latin-inspired meal at celebrity chef, Aaron Sanchez’s new restaurant Paloma. With beautifully presented dishes and a menu including an extensive raw bar program and a range of small and large share plates, this new gem on the harbor front makes for an exciting evening.

Finally, the perfect ending to your night at Stamford’s newest and most happening venue, Sign of the Whale, a 5,000 square foot rooftop beer garden with Long Island Sound water views.

Only a short drive away is this year’s newly relocated Beer Garden at Shippan Landing. With over 15,000 square feet of space right on the water, come mingle at the outdoor bar, enjoy games like corn hole and bocce and eat at Fairfield County’s best food trucks right outside. Party, play and network!

On Sunday mornings, join Exhale Stamford group fitness and yoga classes on the waterfront for a full body workout in the sun. Don’t forget to sign up for the yoga event of the season happening August 30th. Rock n’ Roll Yoga will benefit STARelief and Pet Assistance with an all-out party including a rock band on the boardwalk!

Sunday morning coffee is only a step away. You heard that right! Grab a fresh, roasted coffee and treat at an artisanal coffee shop on wheels, The Buzz Truck  before you shop The Farmer’s Market for local, seasonal produce.

Stamford’s Harbor Point is the new scene for residents and visitors alike! Be sure to check for up to date information.
