The Night Of (July-August 2016): Based on the BBC series Criminal Justice, HBO’s eight-part production The Night Of stars John Turturro (O Brother, Where Art Thou?) and Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler) in a story about a complex New York City murder case with cultural and political overtones.
Preamar (HBO 2012): Preamar is an original series created for the Brazilian branch of the HBO Latin America. The series follows João Ricardo Velasco, a successful banker who loses everything except his beachfront apartment in Ipanema. Hiding secrets from his family, he starts working in Rio’s informal market, a territory that follows its own rules. Soon he meets Xeriffe, who controls the cash-only business on the beach and becomes his confidant.
