Recently opened—and opening soon—places to know now

Fairfield County is buzzing with new spots you’ll want to know about. From bold coffee concepts to Italian dining with a serious following, these openings are shaping the local scene—or are about to.

Greenwich: Hill House

Moms (and anyone who loves playful prints) are obsessed with Hill House, which just opened in downtown Greenwich. The boutique’s whimsical dresses, patterned separates and statement accessories are a hit for weekend brunches or gifting. It’s a spot that rewards slow browsing with each corner revealing cheerful prints, colorful scarves and quirky home finds. It’s the kind of shop that makes you want to text your friends immediately: You need to see this!”

New Canaan: Doppio

If you think Italian dining in Fairfield County couldn’t get more Instagram-worthy, think again. Inside, six new windows brighten the once-dark pizza parlor; moss-green banquets, marble-topped tables and flickering candlelight create a casually chic vibe. The menu carries over favorites from Doppio Greenwich, with puffy-edged pizzas, Rosse and Bianche varieties, antipasti like octopus with fennel and tuna tartare, and penne alla vodka that arrives piping hot with fresh herbs and a spicy kick. The cocktail program is just as thoughtfully curated: smoky Loca Rosa with mescal and watermelon, the herbal Day Dream with Earl Grey and lavender or winter-ready hot toddies.

Stamford: Qahwah House (Opening Soon)

Stamford coffee lovers are getting a big splash of global flavor with Qahwah House, opening at 65 Broad Street. This Yemeni concept is the brand’s first in Connecticut, joining 27 locations across the U.S. Founder Ibrahim Alhasbani comes from an eight-generation coffee-farming family, and the menu reflects that heritage. Think Sana’ani and Jubini drinks spiced with cardamom, cinnamon and ginger, alongside more familiar espresso and lattes. The 3,800-square-foot café also sells beans and brewing gear, from French presses to traditional Arabic dellah pots. It’s big, bold, and worth a detour for anyone serious about coffee.

Darien: JETSET Pilates (Opening Soon)

Wellness enthusiasts can look forward to JETSET Pilates opening soon in Darien. The boutique studio blends classical Pilates with strength-based conditioning, barre and mindful movement. Classes are designed for all levels, whether you’re stretching out after a long commute or training like a pro. The focus is on results—and on a studio environment that feels like a retreat, not a chore.

Wilton: Natural Kitchen (Coming Soon)

Health-conscious locals will want to keep an eye on Natural Kitchen, coming soon to Wilton. The concept emphasizes fresh, made-to-order meals: bowls, sandwiches, smoothies and meal-prep options. Ingredients are clean, creative, and locally sourced whenever possible. It’s perfect for quick lunches, weeknight takeout or building a healthy routine without compromising on flavor.

Westport: Pizza Roundup

Pizza fans, rejoice. Frank Pepe’s has opened a new location in Westport, serving its signature coal-fired pies, while NYC-based SoHo Pizza arrives with inventive slices and a casual, lively atmosphere. Between the two, Westport is officially the pizza destination this season, with options for classicists and adventurous eaters alike.
