Random Acts Of Kindness Week

February 9 – 15 is a week dedicated to random acts of kindness, whether they are directed towards a stranger, relative friend, or anyone else who could use a little extra kindness to improve their week. Here are a few ways that you can help to contribute to the week and help to better someone’s day.

  1. Mail a letter

With texts and email, the art of writing a letter (except during Christmas) is one that has become somewhat diminished. Write someone a letter to give them a friendly surprise when they check their mail at the end of their workday.

  1. Pay someone’s parking meter

Nothing better than coming back to your car to see that someone has paid the meter, am I right?

  1. Do someone’s household chores

Don't normally fold the laundry or unload the dishwasher? Surprise a family member by doing one of their chores and give them a little break.

  1. Leave confidence sticky notes

Write nice messages and leave them in random places for strangers to read. It could be a mirror in a public restroom, someones car windshield or anywhere with a lot of traffic.

  1. Be nice to other drivers

Imagine this scenario: you're driving along and somebody flagrantly cuts you off. Its easy to get mad and yell, right? For this week try and let it go, you can always go back to yelling at inferior drivers next week.
