Good news for anybody who was sad about the closing of Saks Fifth Avenue last year (meaning all residents of Stamford). Saks is planning on returning to the Stamford Town Center in June of this year as Saks OFF 5th. This is Connecticut's second Saks OFF 5th, the first being at the Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets, and it will be located in the same location in the mall as its predecessor. Although it will occupy a little bit less square footage than the original Saks, the reemerging of the brand will certainly be a sight for sore eyes.
