Spring's Big New Scent

Call in spring fever, call it a love spell, call it anything you want, but we're thrilled with the gorgeous new scent from Bond No. 9. To celebrate its tenth anniversary this September, Bond No. 9 is introducing a new scent on June 30. We at Westport Magazine enjoyed a sneak peek sample, which was quickly snapped up and passed around by the fragrance-savvy folks here in the office.

The fragrance company is making a huge, out-of-the-box statement with this launch. Typically, each of its new scents are named after neighborhoods in New York City, but this time it's about the online community, or what the company calls "the digital village, otherwise known as the Internet." They named it HTTP://WWW.BONDNO9.COM and the QR code on the vibrant bottle actually works!

What can you expect: top notes are bergamot, pineapple, and Juniper berry; middle notes are apple, black currant, and cedarwood; and base notes are patchouli, moss, and musk amber. We're huge fans of the brand and think every new scent is remarkable. This one, though, is simply, utterly, totally perfect.

This is the first in a new Digital Collection; expect two more scents each year. How it can be topped, we have no idea, but we'll let you know. HTTP://WWW.BONDNO9.COM is available only online, of course.

We'd say more, but we have to go hunt down that office sample…
