Enjoy a delicious wide variety of fresh foods including gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, a build your own healthy salad bar with over 40+ offered ingredients, and homemade soups along with many vegetarian, vegan, gluten and dairy free options.
Appetizers
Ratatouille dip with hummus and pita, zucchini chips with a dill yogurt sauce, the eatery’s own dry rub hot wings, mussels steamed or curry, Belgian ale mini meat balls.
13 Gourmet sandwiches; served with coleslaw and a pickle – add fries or a salad.
The California – brie, fontina, turkey, avocado, tomato, apple on 9 grain bread
The Dirty – muenster, pepper jack, pastrami, pickles, pepperoncini, on rye
The Trophy – gruyere, short ribs, truffle oil, caramelized onions, mushrooms on sourdough
Frida’s Tuna Melt – swiss, dill Havarti, tuna salad, avocado, tomato, red onions, on English muffin.
And of course – The Kid – American cheese on white with fries!
And more…all breads are artisanal, are made fresh daily from Billy’s Bakery (in Fairfield) and are custom sized – 1/3 larger!
Dipping sauces including creole mayo, French onion au jus, smokin’ buffalo truffle aioli and more are offered .75 cents each.
Sandwich add ons including bacon, avocado, tomato, sautéed mushrooms, and jalapeno and gluten free bread are offered .75 cents each.
Soups – daily specials
Fresh and truly homemade. At least one daily special is gluten and dairy free. Zesty Betsy – spicy tomato soup, smoky Spanish paprika tomato soup, and homemade chicken noodle soup. Bonus: alphabet letter pasta is used in kid’s soup.
Salads
Build your own salads atop a base of greens; romaine, baby greens, or baby kale, spinach, beet mix $7.5
What goes inside; 19 offerings include sunflower seeds, beets, and lentils, boiled eggs, quinoa, chick peas and more.

Owners Ivanina and Henri Donneaux have gotten their inspiration for The Grilled Cheese Eatery from their 3 year old child and also own The Grilled Cheese Eatery in Fairfield, which boasts a full bar, desserts, a larger indoor dining area and an outdoor dining patio.
