The 2013 Ox Ridge Charity Horse Show will be held from June 11 to 16 at the Ox Ridge Hunt Club (ORHC) in Darien.
In its 83rd year, the show will benefit Pegasus Therapeutic Riding, which supports those with special needs, veterans, and at-risk individuals through therapuetic equine-assisted activities.
The show wil be held from June 11 through 16 at the Ox Ridge Hunt Club (ORHC) in Darien.
The show features three-star jumpers, breathtaking jumping exhibitions, and kickoff to the celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the ORHC in 2014.
The ORHC is also proud to announce the return of Palmer’s Market as a major sponsor of this year’s program. A well-known name throughout lower Fairfield County, Palmer's has been a provider of gourmet foods, local produce and quality meats since 1921.
Additional sponsors of this year’s show include Callari Auto Group: BMW, MINI, VOLVO (Westport) and FIAT (Stamford), Carrington Charitable Foundation, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Norwalk, Stronghold Equine Equipment and Whole Foods of Darien. Additional sponsorship and advertising opportunities are still available, with packages ranging between $250 and $30,000.
The proceeds from this year’s program will be donated to Pegasus Therapeutic Riding, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Founded in 1975, Pegasus provides equine-assisted activities to people with special needs, military veterans and at- risk individuals. Students ages four and up participate in therapeutic horseback riding sessions and Horses & Me, an unmounted horsemanship and equine learning program. Pegasus is a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International Premier Accredited Center.
