A purchase, ticket purchase, or attendance at the event will not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited. This giveaway is a sweepstakes; it is not a raffle or lottery.
- Sponsor
This giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Moffly Publications, Inc. a Sub S Corporation, Westport, CT O6880 dba Moffly Lifestyle Media (the “Sponsor”). The Sponsor is solely responsible for the Giveaway. The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform.
- Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the State of Connecticut who are 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. By entering, each entrant confirms they meet these requirements.
- Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins at July 16, 2026 on 12:00noon and ends at 11:00pm on July 23, 2026 (the “Giveaway Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer or designated timekeeping device is the official clock for the Giveaway.
- How to Enter
There are two equally weighted ways to enter. Both methods have the same odds of winning, and no method requires any purchase, payment, or attendance.
Method A — Online Entry Form (Free)
Visit [WEBSITE URL] during the Giveaway Period and complete the entry form with your full name and a valid email address. No purchase is necessary and you do not need to attend the event to enter this way.
Method B — In-Person Entry at the Event (Free)
Attendees and guests at Stamford’s Best Bartender on June 22, 2026 (rain date July 23) at Harbor Point in Stamford, CT may enter by submitting their full name and a valid email address at the designated Giveaway entry station or QR code posted at event location. Purchasing an event ticket is not required to submit an entry.
Limit one (1) entry per person for the entire Giveaway, regardless of method. Duplicate entries from the same person will be consolidated into a single entry. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means are void. All entries become the property of the Sponsor.
- Prize
One (1) winner will receive [PRIZE DESCRIPTION] with an approximate verifiable retail value (“ARV”) of $XXX.00. Total ARV of all prizes: $XXX.00. The prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted, except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. No cash equivalent will be offered. The prize does not include alcohol.
- Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor on or about July 24, 2026. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
The potential winner will be notified by email at the address provided at entry within five business days of the drawing. The potential winner must respond to the notification within five business days to claim the prize. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the stated period, is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in a subsequent random drawing.
- Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Because the ARV of the prize is under the applicable reporting threshold, the Sponsor does not anticipate issuing an IRS Form 1099-MISC; however, the winner remains responsible for reporting and paying any tax due on the prize.
- General Conditions
- a. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Giveaway.
- b. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of their name and town of residence by the Sponsor for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
- c. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries, or for any technical malfunctions of any kind.
- d. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Giveaway, subject to applicable law.
- e. By entering, entrants release the Sponsor and its owners, employees, and agents from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance or use of the prize.
- f. The Giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-laws
- Winner’s Name
To request the name of the winner, send a written request with a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Sponsor at the address in Section 1 within thirty (30) days after the drawing date.
