A Boo-tiful Day!

Get the kiddos ready! The Local Moms Network, parent company of Greenwich Moms, has partnered with Greenwich magazine to bring back Greet & Treat, an annual Halloween extravaganza. The festivities will take place on Greenwich Avenue on Saturday, October 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Little ghosts and goblins will enjoy trick-or-treating, two fun-filled Kid Zones and a costume contest.

Over seventy-five businesses on and around Greenwich Avenue will take part in Greet & Treat, with special in-store promotions and goodies for all. Two Kids Zones will feature a touch-a-truck police car/fire truck area and other activities including a DJ and bubble show. A number of food trucks such as Dough Girls and Neil’s on Wheels will be on site.

To enter the costume contest families can snap a photo of themselves in costume, share on Instagram and tag @greenwich_moms for a chance to win a $300 gift card to Funky Monkey. First Selectman Fred Camillo take part in the fun as the contest’s judge.

“We’re thrilled to team up with Greenwich magazine to bringty together to celebrate with Greet & Treat,” says Layla Lisiewski Local Moms Network CEO and Greenwich Moms founder. “It’s really special to help activate the Avenue like this for Halloween and see all the smiling faces from families and our local business owners.”

Kathy Silard, President and CEO of presenting sponsor, Stamford Health, echoes that sentiment: “As a Greenwich resident, it is truly heartwarming to see how Greenwich Moms is providing our children a fun way to celebrate Halloween safely and that we are able to hold these types of public events once again.”
