Greenwich Symphony Orchestra

What began in the 1940's with a group of amateur musicians has blossomed into a prestigious symphony orchestra.
Upcoming Performances: Saturday, October 1st at 8PM and Sunday, October 2nd at 4PM
The Greenwich Symphony is joined by celebrated clarinetist Stanley Drucker, who was a member of the philharmonic for 60 years. Performing his signature piece by Copland Clarinet Concerto. Dvořák Serenade for Strings, and Mozart Symphony No. 40 will also be performed.

Greater Bridgeport Symphony

GBS performed their first symphony in 1945. Now more than 60 years later they are still thrilling audiences.

Norwalk Symphony Orchestra

Celebrating 72 years of music and it's mission to provide listeners a chance to explore the joys of orchestral music.

The Norwalk Youth Symphony was founded in 1956 and now includes over 230 musicians from more than 30 area towns.
Their concert series begins with their Fall Concert, Sunday, November 20th at 3PM.

Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra

They performed their first concert in 1965. Since then they have grown in size (70-90 musicians) and in popularity, drawing audiences from near and far.

The Beauty of Beethoven featuring Jorge Ávila, Violin. Performing music by Beethoven Overture to "The Creatures of Prometheus", op. 43, Concerto for Violin in D Major, op. 61, and Symphony No. 5 in C minor, op. 67.

The Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra was founded in 2002 and now is made up of over 90 musicians from ages 8 to 18 years who come from 20 towns in Connecticut and New York. Their next performance is Sunday, November 13th at 6PM.

Stamford Symphony

Originally founded in 1919 the orchestra really blossomed in 1967 under then music director, Roger Nierenberg. In 2005 the current music director, Eckart Preu, was chosen from more than 250 candidates and has given the orchestra a fresh, fun approach to music.
