Taylor and Annie became friends as undergraduates at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. A year ahead of Taylor in school, Annie graduated before him and returned home to Darien. That was when Taylor made his move—to Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. The two had been dating and he wanted to be closer to Annie. They moved to New York City together once he earned his degree. Taylor proposed to Annie at her parents’ home in Darien, in front of her favorite Rudolf Stingel painting.
Family friend Clare Myers officiated at the ceremony at Great Harbor Yacht Club on Nantucket, where the reception followed. The day was a picture-perfect 75 degrees and sunny as they shared their vows before an intimate gathering of friends and family.
The bride, daughter of Mark and Margaux Maybell, of Darien, graduated from Darien High School, Catholic University of America, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. She works in marketing for Vogue magazine in New York City.
The groom, son of Bill Kaiser, of Jackson, Wyoming, and Gayla Kaiser of New Canaan, graduated from Canterbury School and Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. He works at Goldman Sachs.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast. They live in New York City.
