Eight is Great!

“’Eric Clapton is God’ has been a common expression since I started following Clapton nearly fifty years ago,” says Ray Dalio, Greenwich Town Party founder. “And Greenwich residents will get to hear why at this year’s Town Party, which will be the best ever.”

Eric Clapton

Clapton has released forty-five albums and is the only triple inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, as a member of both The Yardbirds and Cream and as a solo artist. He has won or shared in eighteen Grammy Awards and was ranked second on Rolling Stone magazine’s 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. In February the Showtime Network will debut a new documentary, Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars, on the musician’s rise to fame in which he narrates and gives exclusive access to his personal archives of music, photos, letters and diary entries.

The Greenwich Town Party is made possible through the support of generous sponsors, whose contributions pay for 80 percent of the event allowing resident tickets to be offered at a significantly discounted price. This year, GTP has introduced new three-year pledge opportunities that are available immediately. Individuals and businesses who make this pledge to support the sustainability of the event will receive unlimited access to the Sponsor Tent with catered food and beverages throughout the day and evening, as well as premier parking.

General Admission tickets will go on sale on Thursday, April 5 at $85 per ticket. The sale date for Neighbor and various sponsor level tickets will be announced in early 2018.
