You no longer have to track down the LobsterCraft truck to enjoy its deliciously sought after lobster rolls. LobsterCraft morphed their mobile concept into a successful brick-and-mortar operation, LobsterCraft Darien, located on Tokeneke Road at the entrance to Rowayton. It’s not just a lobster roll joint, it is New England comfort food that shines not only because of the freshness of the ingredients but the execution of them as well.
Guests can enjoy the treats of the seashore this winter with LobsterCraft Darien’s new menu featuring seafood indulgences in the shell and out. While the classics:: Coastal, Heat Wave and California Rolls remain available, additional rolls include:
- LBLT – The classic lobster roll with bacon, lettuce, and tomato topped with garlic aioli
- TMLR – Their version of the traditional Maine lobster roll
- Surf & Turf: “Steak” your claim with marinated flank steak added to the classic lobster roll
In addition to the award-winning lobster bisque, other menu additions include: hush puppies, clam strips, lobster tacos, lobster salad, clam chowder, and roasted vegetable soup. The new kid-friendly menu includes the Salty Dog, a hot dog shaped like an octopus set on a bun, and Mac-N-Cheese Bites.
“Who says you can’t escape to the shore this winter?” says principal Paul Tully. ”LobsterCraft delivers a taste of the shore all year round, and now we’ve added a little down-home comfort, perfect for winter.
