The 26th Annual Hackers For Hope fundraiser was held on September 19th at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien. Twenty-four local men and women participated in a day-long golf marathon (many of whom played over 100 holes!) to raise money for cancer research.  Founders Alfred E. Smith, IV and Tim Brown are proud to have raised over $13 million since Hackers For Hope has been in existence. Beneficiaries of grants include Stamford Hospital’s Bennett Cancer Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, among others.

The organization is largely supported by friends, family and colleagues of the golfers, past and present.
