Silver Hill Hospital held its sixth annual fall gala at Cipriani 42nd Street® in Manhattan, where 450 people were entertained by musician Buster Poindexter, who performed several of his songs, and comedian Colin Quinn, who served as master of ceremonies. Deejay and Producer DJ Cassidy—whose regular clients include Jay Z, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez—dispatched a special set at the after-party. Two special guests were honored during the black-tie event: psychologist Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., and former Silver Hill Hospital patient, longtime supporter and celebrated talent agent Jonny Podell. This year’s gala raised more than $1 million. The funds will be used to provide financial assistance for individuals who would benefit from Silver Hill’s long-term residential treatment programs but are without adequate resources to cover the costs. The benefit included dinner, dancing and a live auction led by The Manhattan Auction House CEO Michael Powers. This is the sixth consecutive year for the fundraiser, which was developed by Michael Cominotto and Dennis Basso to highlight the excellent treatment the hospital provides. silverhillhospital.org
