Margaret Wasilko & Christopher Gugelmann

Timing was everything for Margaret Tierney Wasilko and Christopher Philip Gugelmann. The two had known each other for years but were either studying or working in other parts of the world and usually dating someone else. Eventually, they reconnected in Greenwich when both were unattached, and they have been together ever since. Chris, as the groom is known, dropped to his knee and proposed on the Pont du Carousel in Paris. The next day, the couple took the train to Reims to meet friends and celebrate at the Veuve Clicquot Champagne caves. Father Liam Quinlan officiated at the candlelit ceremony held in the chapel at the Church of Resurrection in Rye, New York. A dinner followed at Thomas Henkelmann at the Homestead in Greenwich.

The bride, daughter of Kathy and Jim Wasilko of Greenwich, graduated from Greenwich High School and the University of Southern California. She received an International Business Certificate from Cambridge University. Margaret works in executive search for Tailored Consulting in Hillsboro, Florida.

The groom, son of Jeannette and George Gugelmann of Greenwich, graduated from the Brunswick School and Kenyon College. He received his M.B.A. from Georgetown University. Chris is a real estate investment consultant in Manhattan.

The couple enjoyed an extended honeymoon throughout Southeast Asia before returning to New York City.
