The New Canaan Chapter of National Charity League hosted their Year End Celebration at the Outback Thursday, May 1. Both mothers and daughters were recognized for their outstanding volunteer service over the past year and incoming and outgoing Board members were acknowledged as well. NCL President Liz Deambrosio spoke of the new initiatives such as Inspirica programs, Thanksgiving meals at Regional Ticktocker Day, Valentines Day bags for our Homeless Women Veterans of War and Waveny Games and also highlighted the year’s events at Silvermine and a presentation by Jacy Good on Safe Driving. The membership enjoyed ice cream from Baskin Robbins and food was provided by Walter Stewarts.
