With the Clark Construction Comedy Series and Moffly Media Entertaining Conversations Series – Paul Reiser returns to his stand-up roots with a new comedy tour coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, October 17 at 8 p.m. A seasoned actor, writer and producer, Paul Reiser continues to add to his list of accomplishments. Having co-created and starred in the critically acclaimed NBC series MAD ABOUT YOU which garnered him multiple Emmy, Golden Globe, American Comedy Award and Screen Actors Guild nominations, Reiser returned to television last year in the FX series MARRIED. While developing several television projects which he will write and produce, Reiser has again paired up with producer Steven Soderbergh to star in the Amazon series “Red Oaks” which premieres in the fall of 2015. Not one to abandon his roots in stand-up, in between projects Reiser tours the country performing to sold out venues and was recently voted one of Comedy Central’s “Top 100 Comedians of All Time.” Reiser’s successes also include his books COUPLEHOOD, which sold over two million copies and reached the number one spot on the New York Times bestseller list, as well as his follow up bestsellers BABYHOOD and FAMILYHOOD. Kicking off the show is Eliza Paltauf – a young singer songwriter who has performed with Andy Grammar, Lyle Lovett, Kenny Loggins and the B52’s to name a few. Paul Reiser will participate in an audience Q&A following his performance.
