Dr. Tyson is an astrophysicist, science communicator, the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space, and a research associate in the Department of Astrophysics at the American Museum of Natural History.

Landmark Recognition

The Greenwich Landmarks Recognition program was created in 1987 to recognize, document and preserve the architectural heritage of Greenwich. Since then, the Historical Society has given a historic plaque to nearly 300 homes from Colonial to Post-modernist structures, both public and private. The event celebrates the newest landmarks and their current owners.
