On Saturday, February 4 Danbury Porsche hosted 250 guests to unveil the latest redesign of the iconic sports car, the Porsche 911. Held at the headquarters of a national leader in motorsports, Highcroft Racing in Danbury, guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres while viewing examples of all seven generations of the Porsche 911 on display. Simcraft Corporation allowed guests to test drive a Porsche 911 GT3 race car around the famed race track Lime Rock Park in their state of the art racing simulator. A brief presentation was made illustrating the evolution of the Porsche 911 before the 2012 model was unveiled. Door prizes included tickets to Lime Rock Park, a weekend stay at the Falls Village Inn, a cocktail part from The Cutting Board Café, and various Porsche memorabilia.
