HAVE A BLAST

Grab the beach chairs, a blanket and picnic. It’s time to light up the night! The Independence Day fireworks displays are scheduled for Saturday, July 5 at both Binney Park and Greenwich Point Park at dusk.
Rain date: Sunday, July 6.

Regular entry rules for Greenwich Point apply. Vehicular access to the Point closes at 8 p.m., or earlier, if parking capacity is reached. Call for weather cancellation information 203-861-6100.

BAT’S ALL, FOLKS!

UConn Baseball Head Coach Jim Penders will host a one day youth baseball clinic on Tuesday, July 29 at Waveny Park in New Canaan. Designed for players ages six to thirteen of all skill levels, the clinic offers a unique chance for young athletes to develop their game alongside Coach Penders and members of the UConn team. If your child enjoys baseball, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to learn from some of the best in the sport.

9 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–4 p.m.

CALL OF THE WILD

The Greenwich Audubon Center will offer its Nature Day Camp in July and August. Each week, campers will explore nature in a fun, safe environment within the Audubon’s 285 acres.
