The American Red Cross Metro NY North Chapter recently celebrated its 2026 Red & White Ball: A Salute to Service and Valor at Riverside Yacht Club. During the event, the organization honored three recipients whose achievements reflect the core values of the Red Cross and its humanitarian mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering: Adm. Lisa M. Franchetti of the United States Navy, Crabtree Motor Group and the Crabtree family, and Giovanna Miller.
The evening was chaired by Tania Fabiani, Sophie Bosch de Hood and William Hood. Following the awards presentation, guests took to the dance floor for a lively celebration featuring a live performance by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Sophie B. Hawkins.
