Hailing a cab on a rainy day in New York City brought Kerri-Lynn Orsini and Patrick Mulhearn together, but it wasn’t until a mutual friend introduced them that the relationship truly started. Feeling an instant spark, Patrick wasted no time in taking Kerri-Lynn out for a drink at The Hairy Monk.
Two years later, the couple would return to the bar, where Patrick had planned to surprise Kerri-Lynn with a proposal. After having dinner, Patrick popped the question on the street corner where they first met. The couple then headed to The Hairy Monk, where they were cheered by friends and family, who were waiting.
Kerri-Lynn and Patrick were married at St. Pius X in Fairfield by Father Charles Allen. Family members and friends moved to the reception at the Stamford Yacht Club in Stamford to take in the beautiful views, dancing, food and fun.
The bride is the daughter of Kelley and Richard Orsini of Fairfield. Kerri-Lynn attended Fairfield High School and received her bachelor’s degree in public relations at Loyola University, while on a four-year basketball scholarship. She currently works at Northwood Investors, a private equity firm in New York City and also owns and manages Stella Day Events, a day-of event coordinating boutique.
Patrick is the son of Diane and Patrick Mulhearn of Rye, New York. After attending Rye High School, Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree as a double major in mathematics and economics from Boston College in Boston. He is currently working as a trader for Morgan Stanley in New York City.
The couple honeymooned in South Africa and went on a safari before spending a week on the beaches of Mauritius. Patrick and Kerri-Lynn then returned to their New York City home.
