Suzanne Vita Palazzo and Joseph William Ponticello were high school sweethearts at Trinity Catholic High School since he asked her to be his date to the junior prom. They’ve been together ever since.
After Suzanne accepted Joseph’s marriage proposal, they decided to celebrate their wedding in Tuscany, Italy. Both had traveled there before but wanted their families to make the voyage with them and together see the country of their shared ancestry. The family trip included a weeklong stay at Villa Atena in the village of Vicchio, tours of nearby wineries and olive groves, shopping excursions, and numerous meals together. The family celebration culminated with a ceremony at the Church of Rupecanina, officiated by Father Don Martino, and a reception at Villa Atena.
The bride, daughter of Michelle and Nick Palazzo of Stamford, graduated from Trinity Catholic High School and Fordham University. She is a personal trainer and nutrition coach at Carozza Fitness in Stamford.
The groom, son of Debbie and Alfred Ponticello of Stamford, also graduated from Trinity Catholic. He is an HVAC Technician for Air Solutions in Stamford.
After a Tuscan honeymoon, the couple returned home to Norwalk.
