Randy and Amy met in Boulder, Colorado, when they were working for MIX1, a manufacturer of high-performance energy drinks. They dated for three years before Randy, bearing a bottle of champagne in his backpack, proposed to Amy after hiking up to a snow-covered peak in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Father Martin Hunckler officiated at the outdoor ceremony in a meadow surrounded by the Rocky Mountains at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado, where the reception followed in a nearby barn.
The bride, daughter of Linda L’Esperance Daignault of Boulder, Colorado, and Dr. John Daignault of Miami, Florida, graduated from Duxbury High School and University of Colorado. Amy is a realtor in Boulder.
The groom, son of Frank Gilbride and Bari Taylor of Greenwich, graduated from Brunswick School, Colorado College and received an MBA from the University of Denver. Randy is a brand manager for Boulder Brands in Boulder.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in the Grand Cayman Islands before returning home to Boulder, Colorado.
