The Beach Boys bring their surfing sounds and “Good Vibrations” to The Ridgefield Playhouse Summer Gala on Thursday, July 9. Open bar, dinner-by-the-bite from local restaurants, a Hopkins Vineyard wine tasting, one-of-a-kind silent and live auction items, and live music by Carly & Eliza start the evening from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., with a live auction and unforgettable show immediately following (about 8 p.m.). The Beach Boys will rev up the summer with their California sounds including their biggest hits “Surfin’”, “I Get Around”, “Help Me Rhonda”, “California Girls”, “Good Vibrations”, “Little Deuce Coupe”, “Kokomo” and many more. Flip-flops and summer attire will make the night fun, fun, fun, not to mention seeing the full Beach Boys band appearing for the first time at the Playhouse. The Mercedes-Benz of Danbury raffle prize vehicle (one-year lease opportunity) will be on display, and tickets will be available.
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and recipients of The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award, The Beach Boys are a beloved American institution that remains iconic around the world.
