There you’ll find bundled up tree-seekers sipping spiked cider and tossing footballs in the parking before heading into the farm to cut down a tree from the farm’s 200+ acres. Hallmark would be proud.

2. Sabia Tree Farm, Easton

If you find yourself in Easton but want to avoid the crowds of Maple Row, Sabia Tree Farm is located just down the street. The family-owned farm offers a more intimate experience, along with a variety of fir and spruce trees, plus a farm stand and selection of wreaths and gifts.

3. Jones Family Farm, Shelton

Jones Family Farm is the largest tree farm in Fairfield County, and it attracts crowds that feel equally sizable. Jones devotees will say the selection and ambience are unrivaled. You’ll find 400 acres of trees to choose from, plus barns filled with wreaths and decor, and an on-site winery.
