Staying fit doesn’t mean you have to give up all things that taste good, including beer. Spiked Seltzer is a new brand of brew from cofounders Dave Holmes of Rowayton and Nick Shields of Westport, although it doesn’t look or taste like a typical cold one. This all-natural, low-carb beer with 6 percent alcohol is infused with West Indies lime flavor, and it doesn’t contain any malted barley or wheat so it’s completely gluten-free. As for the taste, it’s clean, with a crisp citrus flavor. Try it over the rocks, or as a mixer in cocktail recipes found on the bottom of the box: We like the Mer-mosa and Cosmo-fizz. A six-pack costs $9; available in local stores, including Whole Foods in Darien. spikedseltzer.com
