Elizabeth Tessa Orum and Timothy Duffy were college sweethearts. The campus of Hobart and Williams Smith is where they met just weeks into Liz’s freshman year. With almost a decade of dating under their belts, Tim proposed at their favorite spot in Greenwich, Tod’s Point.
The Reverend Randy Day officiated at the ceremony at the First Church of Round Hill in Greenwich. A reception followed at Riverside Yacht Club with guests serenaded by a blue grass band.
The bride, daughter of Jeffrey and Anne Orum of Greenwich, graduated from Hobart and William Smith College and received her master’s degree in public administration from New York University. Liz is an associate program officer at the Tiger Foundation.
The groom, son of Frank and Mary Anne Duffy of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, graduated from Conestoga High School and Hobart and William Smith College. Tim works in commercial real estate in Philadelphia.
Mr. and Mrs. Duffy spent their honeymoon in France and Italy. They reside in both Philadelphia and New York City.
