During Erin Frasca’s freshman year at the University of Tampa, she was introduced to Daniel Cadigan, who was a friend of her brother Matt. (Matt’s wedding is featured on page 100.) Erin and Dan began dating soon after they met, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
Erin and Dan share a mutual love: the beach. Thus, it was fitting that Dan popped the question during a trip he and Erin took to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. After a romantic dinner, the couple was strolling along the shore when he proposed. Erin was so surprised she almost lost the ring in the sand.
The couple was married by Father Frank Gomez at St. John Parish in Darien and a reception followed at the Darien Community Association at Meadowlands. The newlyweds, who now reside in Bridgeport, spent their honeymoon traveling throughout New England.
Erin is the daughter of Janet and Ralph Frasca of Darien. A graduate of Darien High School, she is pursuing her bachelor’s in psychology at the University of Bridgeport. Erin is a para-educator for the early learning program at Hindley Elementary School.
Dan is the son of Dianne and William Cadigan of Nahant, Massachusetts. He graduated from the University of Tampa with a bachelor’s in science and business and is now a construction operations manager for the Brickman Group in Milford.
