When Jaclyn Kinberg traveled by bus to Washington, D.C., to visit her best friend from middle school, she never expected to meet her future husband. However, the five hours Paul Condra sat beside her marked the beginning of their journey together. Last July, Paul surprised Jaclyn with a weekend wine tasting in the Finger Lakes in upstate New York. They were enjoying a sunset overlooking Cayuga Lake when Paul proposed on bended knee.
The Reverend Pansie Evers of Woodinville, Washington, officiated at the ceremony, which took place in the garden of The Vintage Estate in Yountville, California. A reception followed in the Barrel Room, where guests were treated to a gourmet meal, fine local wines and a surprise vocal performance by the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Anna Maria Kinberg of Stamford and Guy Kinberg of Los Angeles, California. She graduated from New Canaan High School and Roger Williams University with a BA in communications. Jaclyn is a sales executive at digital advertising company Flashtalking in New York City.
The groom is the son of Lloyd and June Condra of Woodinville, Washington. A graduate of Woodinville High School and the University of Washington, he holds an MBA from Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business. Paul is a research associate for Bank of Montreal in Manhattan.
The newlyweds, who are based in Brooklyn, New York, honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
