Joanna Sieghart and Parker Hobson met Fourth of July weekend at a shared summer house with friends on Fire Island. Four years later, Parker proposed with his grandmother’s ring during a hike in the gorgeous Waipio Valley, while on a family vacation in Hawaii. Joanna and Parker wrote the ceremony themselves and their siblings Andrew Sieghart and Danny Hobson officiated.
The couple was married at the bride’s family home in Greenwich. A reception followed.The bride, daughter of Cyd and Josef Sieghart of Greenwich, graduated from Greenwich High School and Colgate University. She is the director of art and toy development at Kidrobot in Boulder, Colorado.
The groom, son of Sandra and Charles Hobson of San Francisco, California, is a graduate of Duke University. He received his juris doctorate from the University of Virginia and his MBA from Yale. Mr. Hobson is vice president of GE Energy Financial Services in Boulder.
