It didn’t take long for Nancy and Lee to realize they had found love, again. (Perhaps Nancy’s years as a Weddings editor for Moffly Media helped hone her ability to spot true love.) It was only five months from when the pair first “met” via phone to when they became engaged. Nancy was working on collecting information for the fiftieth reunion book for Smith College when she called Lee to talk about his late wife. Nancy had lost a spouse too, and they quickly formed a bond. Many emails and long conversations later, they met in person on Thanksgiving. They sure are thankful Nancy picked up the phone and called Lee on that fateful day.
Reverend Margaret Dawedeit officiated at the ceremony at Peru Congregational Church, and a reception followed at the bride’s family home in Vermont.
The bride, daughter of the late Kenneth Thompson and Marian Rigney of Vermont, graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School and Smith College. Nancy runs a corporate communications company.
The groom, son of the late Audie and Blanche Lundy, graduated from Marks High School, Yale University and Columbia Law School. Lee is a lawyer in Baltimore, Maryland, where the Lundys are living.
