Celebrate reading with the Town of Fairfield at the sixth annual One Book, One Town event. In an effort to unite the community, the Fairfield Public Library has chosen to honor Wonder by R.J. Palacio. Wonder is the story of a ten-year-old boy with severe facial deformities who, after being homeschooled for years, will attend middle school for the first time. Written from several perspectives, this is a heart-warming story about courage, kindness and acceptance. Palacio will be visiting Fairfield’s One Book One Town event on March 14 at the Fairfield University Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. For more information, visit fairfieldpubliclibrary.org
