Party of the Summer

1. SELF-GUIDED TOUR
All 300 guests will be encouraged to explore the campus of this National Historic Trust Site, where Philip Johnson and his life partner, collector and curator David Whitney, lived a glamorous weekend existence. That means you have the opportunity to stroll off the beaten paths that tour groups are asked to tread and onto new spaces.

2. NEVER BEFORE SEEN
This architectural theme park sited on forty-nine acres comprises fourteen structures. This year, two structures will be open for the first time: Calluna Farms and Grainger, the eighteenth-century house the couple used for TV.

3. FOOD & FUN
You’ll sip champagne while digging into a gourmet farm-to-table picnic lunch. We suggest you take that meal on a blanket spread out beyond the footprint of the 1,800-sq.-ft. Glass House, just beside the pool. From there, you can hear the D.J.  and the live music, and keep an eye on the kids as they play lawn games. Yes, it’s a family-friendly event, too.
