Party Pics: Gala for Grassroots Benefit at Wee Burn Country Club

Channeling Wimbledon, guests wore white tennis-inspired attire to the Gala for Grassroots benefit at Wee Burn Country Club. Nearly 300 people came to support the Grassroots Tennis & Education Program, which provides high-quality tennis instruction to low-income youth in Norwalk and Stamford. The nonprofit also teaches “leadership development, social emotional learning, college and career readiness and academic enrichment.” Tennis fans were treated to cocktails, dinner and a live and silent auction, along with a heated mixed-doubles ping-pong competition. Proceeds from the paddle raise will go toward building a bubble for the tennis courts, so children can play year-round.
