NO. 1 MOM HAS ENTERED THE CHAT
Consider this your official cheat sheet for Mother’s Day. A few thoughtful hints, a
little wishful thinking and one very important reminder: The best gifts don’t require
a receipt.
Copy and paste this into your family group chat:
Since Mother’s Day is coming up, I’m taking a page from the “no guessing games” approach this year and sharing a little wish list so you don’t have to stress about what to get me. You can check out the “Spoil Mom: The Best of the Best Greenwich Gift Guide” on greenwichmoms.com, or I would be happy with anything thoughtful such as:
• A relaxed, unrushed day together (perhaps a casual walk around Tod’s Point to kick off the season)
• A nice brunch out or a meal at home that I don’t have to make
• Something self-care-related (Delamar massage, Le Suite facial, Maison d’Alexandre day of beauty, or just time to relax)
• A small, meaningful gift or something I wouldn’t buy for myself such as Roller Rabbit PJs
• Bonus: A handwritten note always wins. (Perhaps with a sweet treat from newly opened BonBon.)
Honestly, the best gift is just spending time together and not having to plan anything myself. Love you all and thank you in advance for making the day special.

XO Mom

NO. 3 GARDEN GOALS
Mark your calendar for the 2026 Garden Open Day on Sunday, June 7, when you can explore the 13 acres of stunning Sleepy Cat Farm. The heart of the original six acres is experienced along the “Golden Path,” a granite dust pathway that leads from the main house and formal terraces on top of the hill into the stunning landscape. As you wander through the oak and beech woodland, you’ll encounter fountains, statuary, an iris garden traversed by a Japanese spirit bridge and planted with 10,000 Japanese iris, and finally a rustic stone grotto. gardenconservency.org

NO. 4 BIG WHEELS, BIG THRILLS
At Touch a Truck on Sunday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., children can fulfill their dreams of sitting behind the wheel of a fire truck or honking a dump truck’s horn. The event features all sorts of vehicles, a roaming railroad, bounce houses, live music, food trucks and more. There will also be a Reduced Sensory Hour, starting at 9:30 a.m., for families and children who benefit from less commotion. jlgreenwich.org
