The Beehive's Grand Opening — November 8th

The Beehive, 1561 Post Road, offers one stop shopping at its best, presenting an extensive collection of fabulous, one of kind designer items, while focusing on products that are well designed, well priced and “super up to the minute.” 

Items include:

Sandra Tobey, Owner & Fairfield resident, spent over ten years in marketing and advertising on both the West Coast and the East Coast, but always dreamed of owning her own store. “The entire time I was in advertising (as an account director) all I was thinking about was my escape plan,” laughed Tobey. “The Beehive is focused on taking the stress out of gift giving in particular. We’re a true one stop shop. You can curate gifts from a few categories and put it together from beginning to end with accompanying card, ribbon, wrap etc. I like to think of it as a ‘one for me, one for you’ shopping destination — everything in the store I'd want for myself too!”

With a goal of opening a store where you could fill a lot of needs and also pick up a little something for yourself — Sandra has focused on the design and value of each product — in conjunction with creating a ‘feeling really good about your purchase’ theme. “Everything in the store is guilt free.”

Designer products include:

Home Goods: Hedgehouse Throw Beds, Plain and Simple candles (100% soy, hand poured in a beautiful keepsake glass jar), Maptotes wine bags, Morocco poufs and vintage wedding blanket pillows, paper and fun party goodies – Sugar Paper cards & sets, party sparkers and poppers from Tops Malibu, Kate Spade. Boxes, gift wrap and ribbon will also be available, along with store brand gift wrapping.

Women’s accessories: jewelry by Loren Hope (made in the USA), bracelets for an arm party by Giles and Brother, PJ’s by Marigot, waterfall cardigans by Turkish-T and clutches by Blair Richey.

Pups: leashes and collars by Found My Animal (adoption advocates ww.foundmyanimal.com), Harry Barker rope toys, Dash & Albert dog beds.

Kids: Aden & Anais – thee best swaddler around, Uncle Goose wood toys, BlaBla Dolls.

Men: fun men’s stocking stuffers from Sandra’s favorite online men’s site – Kauffman Mercantile.
