On a gorgeous fall day at a polo match, Alexandra and Alistair began chatting and realized they had a friend in common. Knowing that both felt a spark during that first encounter, that friend set the couple up on a proper date and the rest is history. Two years into dating while down in Boca Grande on a morning walk at the beach, Alistair got on one knee and proposed. Reverend Michelle Robinshaw officiated at the ceremony at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Boca Grande, Florida, and the reception followed at the Gasparilla Inn.
The bride, daughter of Jeff and Marjorie Webb, graduated from Greenwich Academy and University of Virginia. Alexandra works for Ralph Lauren in New York City.
The groom, son of Pierre and Natalie Biraben of Zermatt, Switzerland, graduated from Kent School, Vanderbilt University, Fordham Business School and IE Business School. Alistair works in real estate investment banking for Jones Lang LaSalle in New York City.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Myanmar before returning home to Manhattan.
