When Jenn Stevens was trying to lure Pablo J. Cagnoni to New York for a job at Novartis Oncology, she told him that not only was the job perfect for him, but that she had a college friend she wanted him to meet. Pablo accepted the job and true to her word, Jenn introduced him to Lesley Brooks Hathaway. It was love at first sight. Less than a year later, Pablo proposed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at Christmas under a tree where he had played as a young boy.
The couple chose a destination wedding at the Dunton Hot Springs Resort in Dolores, Colorado, with Telluride Church of Christ Presbyterian Pastor Pat Bailey officiating at the ceremony. Family and very close friends of the couple were in attendance at the intimate wedding. A black-tie party took place in Manhattan on a later date.
The bride, daughter of Barbara and Lawrence Hathaway of Riverside, graduated from Bucknell University and the School of Visual Arts. She is a graphic designer with A Day in May Design in New York City. The groom, son of the late Rita Colombo and the late Jorge Cagnoni of Buenos Aires, Argentina, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School. Dr. Cagnoni is a pharmaceutical executive with Novartis Oncology in Florham Park, New Jersey.
