The last thing most of us think of doing during the dog days of summer is head into the city for a walking tour. But you may want to think again. Sugartooth Tours’ Ice Cream Summer Sundays Frozen Treats Tour is the perfect way to explore the hidden sweet treats of New York this summer.

Roam historical parts of the city, while experiencing the sweeter side of New York at a variety of dessert stops throughout Manhattan.

“The idea behind our tours is to have our guests really experience more than just the big-named shops,” says Sarah Morgan, cofounder and co-owner of Sugartooth Tours. “We keep our tour sizes small so everyone can really experience and enjoy the city and treats along the way! We also mix in a bit of history at each stop, so our guests know the story behind the sweetness.”

For those looking to cool off on a hot summer day, the Ice Cream Summer Sundays tour is the perfect fix. Featuring stops in Little Italy, SoHo and Chinatown, guests get to experience New York’s best cold treats—from uniquely flavored ice creams, ice cream sandwiches, artisanal gelato, frozen yogurt and more.

The tour runs Sundays at 1 p.m. through August 28. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at
